Hi, I'm Jake Miller

Graphic Designer & Founder of Pick Calendar

I'm a 29-year-old graphic designer based in the United States. I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a degree in Graphic Design, and I've spent the last several years working on branding, print design, and digital illustrations.

I love drawing, typography, and anything that involves making everyday objects more beautiful. Calendars might seem simple, but I believe a well-designed calendar can bring a little joy to your desk, wall, or planner — and help you stay organized while doing it.

Why I Built Pick Calendar

Pick Calendar started as a weekend project. I was tired of ugly, cluttered calendar templates filled with ads and watermarks. I just wanted something clean, printable, and genuinely useful. So I designed my own — and shared it online.

The response was incredible. Thousands of people downloaded that first calendar, and they kept asking for more: different styles, different months, planners, blank templates. So I kept designing. What began as a side hobby has grown into a full collection of free calendars and planning tools.

Every template on this site is designed by me, from scratch, using the same principles I apply to client work: clarity first, beauty second, and always with the user in mind.

What Makes Pick Calendar Different?

Designed by a professional. These aren't generic templates pulled from a stock library. Every grid, every font choice, every color palette is intentional. I obsess over margins, readability, and print quality so you don't have to.

Truly free. No email required. No hidden paywalls. No "premium version." Just download and print. I fund this site through light advertising, which means the calendars stay free for everyone.

Print-perfect. All files are optimized for standard US Letter paper. I've tested them on home printers, office copiers, and professional print shops. The PDFs use vector graphics, so they stay crisp at any size.

A Little More About Me

When I'm not designing calendars, I'm probably sketching in a coffee shop, experimenting with new typefaces, or hiking with my dog. I believe good design should be accessible to everyone — not just people who can afford expensive software or subscriptions.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find a calendar you love.
